Careers

Work on AI that helps science move forward.

Blankline is a small team of researchers and engineers building AI that helps people do science across many fields and uses less energy doing it. If that is the work you want to spend the next several years on, we want to hear from you.

How we work

Four rules. No exceptions.

01

Safety first, every time.

If a model is not safe to ship, it does not ship. There is no version of our work where we trade that for speed or scale.

02

Evidence over opinion.

We build claims on results we can reproduce. Strong intuitions are welcome, but they have to survive a careful test before they shape what we do next.

03

Built to last.

We are working on questions that will matter for decades. We hire and plan against that, not against the next quarter.

04

The best argument wins.

Titles and tenure do not decide what we work on. The clearest reasoning does, whoever brought it to the table.

What you get

The basics, done properly.

We do not list ping-pong tables. We list the things that actually let people do good work over a long period of time.

Compensation

Competitive base, meaningful equity, and a clear path for it to grow with the company.

Compute

Real access to the cluster you need to do the work, not a quota you fight for every week.

Publishing

You can publish your research, present at conferences, and put your name on what you ship.

Health

Full medical, dental, and vision for you and the people you live with.

Time off

A real vacation policy, taken seriously, with a minimum each year.

Where you work

A few hubs and a strong remote-friendly default. We meet in person a few times a year.

Open roles

Where we need people right now.
